The Surf

Perfect surfing
during your adventure vacation in Nicaragua.
The Pacific Coast of Nicaragua offers surfing spots
that rival neighboring Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, and even Mexico. The
stretch of coastline adjacent to Surfari Charter’s home in Las Salinas
has something that makes it unique in Central America and also in the world.
What is it? Nicaragua has offshore winds nearly 330 days a year. Lake
Nicaragua allows trade winds to cross the country year round causing this
phenomenon. Not only do we have numerous point, beach, and river mouth breaks,
but we also have them with offshore winds all day long. Unlike Costa
Rica, the surf does not blow out at 11:00. Don’t feel badly, we didn’t believe
it either. But we’ve seen it with our own eyes, and so should you.
