Captain’s Log: Entry
137, November 27, 2007

Today was Kristin’s 27th Birthday on the
27th of November! We spent the morning chilling out at
Shay’s place and relaxing and Kristin decided she wanted
to take the boat out in the afternoon and do some fishing.
We cruised out about 25 miles and started trolling.
Luckily the wind was really mellow and we managed to spot
a nice tree trunk floating in the water. We made a pass
and a hungry bull dolphin slammed Brodie’s swimming
ballyhoo. After a nice drop back, Brodie brought the drag
forward and buried the circle hook. He passed the rod off
to Kristin and let her catch it for her Birthday! After
that it was about sunset and we cruised back to the
Marina. I arranged for a little Birthday get-together at
the Marina and we had some friends over for the fiesta.
The Marina scored Kristin a sweet piñata and Birthday
cake. The cake said “Happy Kristin”!! Kristin went “loca”
on the piñata, and all the boys said they felt sorry for
me if Kristin ever gets angry at me! Happy Birthday
Kristin!!!
