Captain’s Log: Entry

Merry Christmas to everyone! We are out in
Center Point, Texas right now to spend time with the
family for the holidays. As usual I am on my quest to
harvest a nice White Tailed deer on my parents' property.
I was having some trouble getting close enough to a nice
buck for a clean bow shot, and then I realized I did not
have SUBU with me. I picked my straightest arrow and then
adorned it with the obligatory SUBU (in this case show up
and BOW up!). Sure enough this nice 8 point sneaked into
one of my stands one afternoon and I brought the SUBU to
him. That fried back strap tasted great, and the jerky was
not bad either. Best wishes to everyone this holiday
season! I also threw in a shot of the new Texas terrorist
hunting permit, everyone should get one, they are free,
and there is no bag limit!!!! Don’t mess with Texas!!!
