Today was a big day for the Moss boys! My
Pops and I went to Fort Worth Texas to fly air combat
against each other. You guys are probably scratching your
head on this one so I will explain. Last year I got this
as a gift for my “Old Man”! This company, Air Combat USA,
flies planes around the US and takes people up to
experience the thrill of air to air combat. Basically they
give you a one hour briefing and then you go up and they
take you through some basic fighter maneuvers. Then you
come back to base and debrief. Then they take you back out
and you get to do six engagements against each other. My
Pops is a retired F4 pilot and did 380 missions in two
tours in Vietnam and shot down a Mig, so this was
something that was just unreal to get to do with him. I
highly recommend for everyone to go online to
www.aircombatusa.com and book a mission with these
guys and tell them Surfari Charters in Nicaragua sent you.
It is a thrill you have to experience. After our missions
we went to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Today was
my first time flying a plane and my first time at a Rodeo.
Both were amazing. The highlight of the Rodeo was a monkey
named Whiplash who rode a dog and herded sheep! We were
laughing our asses off. We also have some sweet footage of
the dogfights, I will post a video when we get it all
edited!
