This week we have Jeremey "The Weatherman" and "Tug Boat" Mike down again with us. They came down last season and decided they had to get back this year to do it over again. We got them out super early on their first morning and got them on some fun waves and then headed out to see what we could catch. To our surprise, we found the biggest Yellowfin Tuna rally I have ever seen in all of my years fishing in Nicaragua. They were everywhere and were committing suicide on anything you threw in the water! After trolling through them and getting all five lines in the spread knocked down on several occasions, we decided to see how many other ways we could catch them. We put only the two rigger baits out and trolled as fast as we could to see how aggressive they would attack. We had them jumping over each other trying to get the baits! Then we started casting topwaters and had some giant surface bites. In the end we set the new Surfari record with 21 Tunas in one day. If we had really tried, I know we could have caught at least 100!
