RECORD 82.5lb WAHOO CAUGHT Friday August 7, 2009! Randy "Pops" Moss is down here for a visit, and after some serious trash talking to our guests Eric, Jason and Brian, he managed to pull of the feat! We weren't sure that all of the trash talk was going to pay off, but sure enough, it did! Randy was just about done reeling in a medium size Mackeral when the Wahoo hit, exploding on the surface. Lance took the Mackeral, and handed off the other rod to his Pops, to start the arm-wrenching, 30 minute battle! Randy let us all know mid-fight that if it was the record Jack, he was going to be PISSED! We finally got a look at the monster, and knew it was a big one. A few seconds later, it was on deck, and the celebrating began! Guess the SUBU action runs in the family!!!!! Thanks to Jeff for the use of his boat the Marlindo!!
